In today's busy world, some of us find ourselves away from home more often than not. We travel for meetings, filming, concerts, or competition. There simply isn't time to deal with inconvenient doctors' appointments, not to mention the commute to their office, dealing with their waiting rooms, and then not having them for treatment while traveling. Yet they are so important in helping us to be our best. Wouldn't it be great if you could take your doctor on the road?
Why Do I Need A Personal Chiropractor?
Perhaps you are a professional athlete who wants to get the most out of training, recover quickly, and be in the best shape of your life for competition. Maybe you are a musician, with the demands of touring and performing threatening your art. Perhaps you are an actor on location far from traditional comforts or in a country where chiropractic care is difficult to find. You might be a dignitary, CEO, or government official, constantly on the go and needing stable and holistic health care. Possibly you represent a traveling organization, a team, or crew that needs a knowledgeable doctor to care for a them under high stress and the pressure of competition. Maybe you are a fellow chiropractor with a patient who requires care while traveling, but you just cannot spare the time from your thriving practice.
If any of these people sound like you, then you have found the right place.
What Type Of Patients Do You Treat?
Each year, the number of "types" of patients grow. Many of my patients wish to keep their identities private, but I can say that I have treated musicians, athletes, and royalty. I have treated patients in severe pain and also those wanting to be at their best before, during, and after competition. I have treated newborn babies, elderly adults, and everyone in between. I have adjusted cats and dogs. I have yet to accept a patient who I could not help in some way. Having said all this, I prefer difficult cases - the people others can't help. My favorite patient is the world-class performer or athlete who understands the need to be at their best. I am more than capable of helping you achieve this goal.
Do You Only Perform Chiropractic Adjustments On The Spine?
Partially because of my athletic interests, partially because of my training, and partially because of my belief that the body should function as a whole, I focus on head-to-toe chiropractic care. This includes (but of course is not limited to) spinal and extremity adjustments and visceral (organ) manipulation. In addition, because muscles attach to and cause bones to move, I often recomend muscular and soft tissue manipulation (myofascial release, stretching, trigger point therapy, neuromuscular reeducation techniques, etc.).
Do You Do More Than Adjustments?
The body functions as a whole and more is required than the adjustment if you wish to function at your best. For this reason exercise instruction, postural rehabilitation, nutrition, and sport- or activity-specific analysis, proprioceptive care, promotion of flexibility , and injury prevention are very important. So whether you have an injury (such as sprained ankle, a sore knee, or a spinal disc problem), a chronic condition (arthritis, headaches, tendonitis, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome), or just want to feel great and be optimally healthy, I can assist you.
What Are Your Credentials?
As with all chiropractors, I have gone through the necessary undergraduate and chiropractic school education. I have received additional medical education with focus on pharmaceuticals and injections (though American licensure does not allow me to either prescribe or administer these). I have taken continuing education courses above and beyond minimum requirements for licensure, and I am currently obtaining necessary credits to apply toward the Diplomate of the American Board of Chiropractic Orthopedists (DABCO). My CV is available for review here.
Why Should I Choose You Over Other Doctors?
Simply put - Experience. I have been in many situations and when something is new, I easily adapt to circumstances. I have a current (though well-worn) US passport, I am young and healthy, and I am go the extra mile to care for my patients. I speak and have studied several languages (with varying levels of competence) including French, Arabic, Spanish, Russian, and Japanese. I am a member of Mensa, as well as the American Academy of Spine Physicians. I use a variety of chiropractic techniques, varying from traditional methods to low and non-force techniques. I am adjust both with and without a table (tables are hard to come by on airplanes and in airports) and with my hands or other instruments. I hold patient confidentiality in the highest regard and do not disclose information unless it has been expressly approved (many of my patients live discreet and quiet lives and wish to keep it that way). I make myself available at all times, am willing to (and currently do) work 7 days a week, and have done adjustments at every hour of the day. I also perform many duties outside what is normally asked of a chiropractor (from interpreter to personal assistant to computer technician). Most importantly, I understand the harsh demands of frequent travel and will work to make your life easier.
Are You A Good Traveling Companion?
This is an important question, as the nature of my profession involves close proximities. I do not smoke or drink and when traveling in close quarters, I am an expert at respecting your personal space and quiet. Physically, I am able to assist with baggage when necessary, and I am willing to assist with anything reasonable, providing it is not physically dangerous (I will not end my career trying to lift a piano for you). I fly well across time zones, and yes, I can ride facing backwards in a limo (all of these questions have been asked of me).

What Is The Cost Of A Personal Chiropractor?
As every patient is unique and every situation is different, I simply cannot have a set fee schedule. Fees are determined by many factors including:
- Time required (is it a matter of days or years?)
- Location(s) involved (will we be on the French Riviera or in Saharan Africa?)
- Number of adjustments and/or patients (am I treating a group of 80 people, a family, or an individual?)
- Other items unique to the patient's condition and/or sport/employment

I am Interested - How Do We Get Started?
Feel free to e-mail me with questions. I will try to respond immediately but I am often on the road, so it may take several days to respond.
